I build and operate Cain — a private AI agent system that runs on a dedicated server and thinks on the model subscriptions you already pay for.

Before this I spent fifteen years in corporate sales, latterly as a senior sales manager at a large manufacturing company, and eight years in crypto, where I got used to learning new infrastructure long before it was comfortable. For the last four years I have built products remotely from Bali. Now I do this full time.

I am not a security researcher. I am the person who runs these systems in production and gets woken up when they break. Most of what I write here comes from that: an unpinned upgrade that took a gateway down, an auth token that silently drifted out of sync, a config watcher that died and made every change look like it had applied.

If a guide on this site tells you to do something, it is because I do it on the machines I am responsible for.
